RaidRules
Everyone needs to have Vent. You don't have to talk but you must be able to listen. Everyone needs to have DBM. Anyone that can dispel debuffs should get Decursive and I highly recommend Buffwatch++ for anyone that does buffs. None of the addons take more than 1 minute to understand. Everone needs to have their gear enchanted. If you don't know what enchants you need take a look at your toon on wow-heroes.com. In fact, everyone should check themselves out on wow-heroes.com. It will give you a quick gear check to make sure that you are ready for a particular raid. When we have a full guild run complain as much as you want in raid chat. But when we are pugging a lot of people and things are not going well, keep the FFS and such out of raid chat. If you need to get something off your chest whisper me, but don't air your dirty laundry in raid chat. NOTE ->>>> The following will be changing soon :::::
Once everyone is on board we will announce a minimum cutoff time. You will have to commit to raiding untill that time or you will be asked to leave the raid. Loot Rules: We don't use DKP (nor do we plan to). Need rolls for main sets first, greed rolls for offsets second. These same rules appy for tier gear. Main set is the set you will be using for most of the instance. If you switch sets for one boss your main set does not change. Additionally, you are only allowed to win one tier piece per raid. If there is a BoE epic we all roll. If a guildie wins it, it goes into the guild bank. It then goes on the ah and the proceeds go back into the bank. Optionally, any guildie can buy the item at a reduced price. Regarding multiple items off the same boss: If you have already won a Need roll off of a boss other people get to Need first on any other items from that boss. If no one else Needs you are welcome to roll. I am forced to make a small update to this. If it is clear that only guildies are involved in a roll, and you are the only one that is going to recieve the offet item because no other guildie can roll, then I would strongly encourage you to pass on the main set item if anyone else needs it as well. That way everyone gets something, and IMO, to do anything else is just plain greedy. If feel very strongly about rolling on the mainset then pass on the offset and we can all roll on the shard. We will have to be somewhat flexible in the application of this rule because I really don't want to have to shard perfectly useful gear out of spite. As an aside, it occurs to me that Loot masters should probbably link tier pieces first to get thos rolls out of the way. Lastly, if a guildie has won the roll (on an item that is not uber rare) I reserve the right to pas it to a lesser geared guildie if this would clearly benefit the guild as a whole. I expect this to be a rare situation. In particular, newer guildies should never expect special treatment. Just a note for 5 man instance runs: It is common practice and courtesy to ask to Need on an item before doing so. Also, the only person that should ever greed on a BoE item is an enchanter. All others should pass or need. Also, never need on an BoE item unless the whole group is agreeing to do so. I'll add more stuff here as it comes up.
